The workshop explored the role of technology in delivering step-change emission reductions \u2013 both in terms of retrofit and new build \u2013 and followed the recent publication of a series of academic papers on shipping and emissions. The workshop, hosted by the UK Chamber of Shipping, was part of the University of Manchester\u2019s High Seas project, funded through the EPSRC\u2019s energy programme.
